Henderson Habitat for Humanity recently became a part of the HandsOnNetwork program's opportunities for volunteers to be rewarded with a free day at the Disney parks. Just as the phrase states so plainly, give a day volunteering with Henderson Habitat and get a free admission for a day at one of the Disney theme parks. For more details, visit the website: www.disneyparks.com and learn how you might could spend a day of your spring break or summer vacation!

The HandsOnNetwork is a "volunteer-focused arm of Points of Light Institute, an international nonprofit organization whose core mission is to inspire, equip and mobilize people to take action that changes the world." The Atlanta-based organization celebrates in 2010 the "everyday heroes who serve in their communities with the 'Give A Day-Get A Disney Day' program.

Henderson Habitat for Humanity provides opportunities for a day's volunteer service either at the ReStore on South Green Street or at the construction site. To schedule a volunteer opportunity at the ReStore, please contact Store Manager Donna Phillips at 826-0015. To learn more about a construction site opportunity to volunteer, please call 869-9011.
